主要工作职责:

Position Summary:
As an Applications Specialist – XRF & XRD, you will be a technical expert in the field of XRF & XRD , supporting Olympus ANI day to day business operations. You will be demonstrating solutions to potential customers as well as supporting laboratory work, report writing and customer training for current and new customers, both at customer’s sites and at the Olympus China office. Applications Specialists work closely with both our Service and Sales department to insure success in obtaining new customers and supporting existing customers. The applications specialist will be the technical link between our customers and the factory. Frequent travel up to 50% is involved in the China region.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales support:
•Conduct product demonstration in conjunction with our sales team.
•Provide post-demonstration reports to the customer.
•Write applications note in the relevant XRF & XRD market.
•Work with sales and product management on any XRF & XRD application issue.
•Be the technical reference on XRF & XRD equipment configuration.

Sales Support:
Travel with Sales Team to customer sites during the sales process to provide technical support. Present data to customers to support solution based sales approaches. Participate in trade shows exhibits, advertising of equipment, writing and presenting papers/posters at scientific conferences or in journals.

Post Sales support:
Training and calibration support to include; development of training material, technical phone and web support and training of customers and service personnel on equipment and software operation, applications, methods and techniques.

任职要求:

•BA or BS degree in Chemistry, Geology or Physics; strong preference for Geology background with Master degree
•At least 3+ years of experience with instrumental analytical analysis techniques, with a strong experience for XRF or XRD is necessary.
•Excellent reporting and writing skills in English.
•Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
